Center for Poitical Information (CPI) — an independed research organization, formed as expert group in 1992 and incorporated in Febrary of 1997.

The prior research directions that are the points of interest for CPI are as follows:

  • Research of formation, functions and reationships between federal and regional groups of influence (clans), elite.
  • Research of political and economic situations on federal and regional levels in Russian and CIS countries.
  • Analysis of corporations’ backrounds and the source of the individuals wealth.
  • Assesment of investment risks in Russia and devoloping countries

The CPI’s team consists of more than 20 experts in different areas of economics, politics and law. Additionally, we incorporate specialists with backrounds in working for governmental bodies and investment activities.

The center has its own regional network of experts covering most of the territory of Russian Federation. For the last five years we have developed strong links with representatives from oil and energy industries and governmental bodies from Central Asian countries.

The Center’s partners are leading experts in the topic of poitical and economical situations in such countries as Iran, North Korea and Eastern Europe. During this cooperative period we created informational databases which provide resources to assess events in these countries on the highest professional level.

For the last 17 years the Center has provided consulting services for largest Russian and foreign corporations, research centers, private and governmental bodies. We have practical experience in Due Diligence for international banking agencis. The Center’s senior experts provide educational training for the top-managment of foreign companies abroad in investment risks related to Russia.
